Are Rotary watches any good?
Discussion
Looking at buying this http://www.hsamuel.co.uk/webstore/detail/R/6613098... but don't know a huge deal about watches, what do you think?
Bit too busy for my liking.
Werners do some nice watches for around that price - http://www.wernersflyingwatches.com/default.asp
They seem to be highly regarded on this forum!

Argos are good on price for mainstream watches, they have a similar Rotary on quite a bit cheaper and it looks nice in the flesh.I've had a Rotary watch for work for over 20 years and apart from falling apart inside after a LOT of abuse at work whilst using an air rivetting gun (face re-attached at a local watchmakers) its never missed a beat.

I doubt many watches would stand that kind of force. Hey, have you tried G-shock? You'd expect that to last.
The local watch repairers put 3 little screws in to hold the face in correct position, and whilst they were there put in a new glass to replace the very battered old one.
The watch is still going strong, but the glass looks a little out of place being all nice and new compared with the rest of the watch being all a bit battered.

Rotary watches are Swiss-made and quite durable, with a lifetime guarantee. The prices range from very affordable to very high prices for higher end watches.
