Having just joined TZ I have just found the Timefactors web site.

Any views from the collective.

The watches look like good value and good looking.

I have read the threads on the TZ site but always respect the PH views.

The TimeFactors online shop was how I found TZ-UK. I have bought a few straps from TF over the years (some of which I am selling - can I say that here?) and they are good value. All-in I think TF offers a good customer experience.

I have a PRS20 and I love it. It's an excellent quality watch which keeps great time and gets many admiring glances and positive comments. I get great enjoyment from it, and would really like to add a PRS50b to my collection sometime.

I have a lowly PRS-27B (yes, it's a copy of a Mondaine) and also get compliments.

I always think it's a shame that someone so talented just copies others instead of making something new.

Except the dreadnaught of course, which is a bit ugly really.

I like some of the watches (although I don't have any of them) and they seem like pretty good value.
I have one of the Aviator straps which is superb.

Yep, what happened with the whole Omega thing, they were after Lord Eddie for a while weren't they ?

Wasn't it the 'Broadarrow' name that Eddie was using was causing the trouble with Omega? Makes you laugh Omega don't have the rights to broadarrow or pheon maybe the UK Government or Queen does!?

Ok, for those of you who have owned / handled a TF watch (Speedbird, PRS xxx etc) what is the quality comparable to?

I'd ask this on TZ, but I don't feel I'd get an unbiased answer. You could be forgiven for thinking that Eddie is the messiah over there hehe

Yes... but does it feel like a Patek Philippe, an Omega or a Timex?

It's a solid well put together Low volume timepiece that I consider great value for money, not all to my taste but I have nothing negative to say about the one I have. In fact I intend to add a PRS-50-B and a PRS-20 Italian Full Lume to my collection shortly.
As far as comparability I tend to treat my watches equally, whether it is a 5K Rolex or a 100 quid Seiko. My CW C70 DBR01 is getting the most wear at the moment for instance.
There are a few pre owned for sale on TZ. Definitely worth a punt.

Many of Eddie's watches are made either by Zeno (older models) or Fricker. It doesn't get much better than Fricker as they also make cases for Sinn, Oris, Hanhart, and many others. So they are really incredibly priced watches considering they are of equivalent workmanship as these other brands but at fraction of the price.

Perfect, if you don't mind a small review would be great?
