Apparently +/- 7 seconds a day, so if you fully wind/shake it up, it might be 30 seconds out after the nearly 4 days reserve it has ![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
COSC is -4/+6. ![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
The vast majority of Seikos are sold with -20/+40.

I was basing it on this, so probably a one off, but doesn't sound great.![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)

Amazed how poorly received these have been in comparison to the MoonSwatch!
Hopeful I’ll bag the colour(s) I want easily in the US in a couple of weeks time!
...probably because Blancpain means nothing to the loveable scamps who hoovered up the Moonswatch. Omega and Rolex are in a specfic set of 'obvious' (i.e highly marketed / insta'd) brands, including Aston Martin, Balenciaga, Grey Goose, etc. Any make that requires even cursory research to look beyond the marketing won't be troubling the consciousness of 95% of the population. Hopeful I’ll bag the colour(s) I want easily in the US in a couple of weeks time!
Plus they look crap, of course.

By 'crap', you of course mean 'excellent'!Plus they look crap, of course.

Seen some of these sell on eBay for under £500 over the last few days, barely seems worth the bother for flippers once they have paid the eBay and PayPal fees.
Flippers are not the brightest folk in the world…people looking for a quick buck… I don’t think they will be heading up the trading floor at Goldman Sachs any time soon Same with the Yeezy seeing lots on eBay for under RRP!

I really wanted a MoonSwatch, every time I went to the Swatch shop in Edinburgh they were sold out. Finally had a look at them up close in Zürich and they are awful. Just plastic pieces of crap. Can’t understand why anyone would want one, Hopeful I’ll bag the colour(s) I want easily in the US in a couple of weeks time!

As for the Blancpain Swatch, already now down to £450ish on eBay. Hopefully most will be put off the time and effort it will be taking them to earn £90!

I’m a little confused how you’d be disappointed given they look pretty much identical in reality to how they look in person! If anything they look marginally more plastic in photos….

They feel very plasticky and look much worse than the photos. I was really surprised at the difference. Maybe it was the weight, but I didn’t like them. At least some of the Moonswatch models looked quite like the real version from a distance (a longish distance - they look like the plastic tat that they are close up). The Blancpain looks nothing like the original - they look like they were commissioned by McDonalds as a HappyMeal “my first watch”.

I felt the same when I finally got to hold a moonswatch. It wasn’t that they looked worse, it’s that they felt worse for me and I am sure the weight (or lack thereof) had a lot to do with it. Has anyone seen one of these Blancpain x’s in the flesh yet? I’ve just looked at the yellow one - mainly wanted to gauge the thickness with the nato - and I’ve come away feeing the same. I wanted the Antarctic version but having tried one on now I’ll pass I think. Just felt so light and cheap.
Maybe on a different strap it would be better but I don’t like the bioceramic models with a stainless clasp. Looks like you could remove the clasp on these then add it to, say, a rubber strap but would have to be one that doesn’t taper at all. And then you have a watch where the strap weighs twice as much as the watch which might feel odd.

Where did you try one on? Did they have much stock, and what was the queue like? I have some trips to London later this month, so it would be good to know if I'm likely to find one in the shops...Right at the beginning of the thread I said it would be interesting to see how this collaboration went down.
Blancpain actually have great heritage when it comes to divers but nobody outside of watch nerd circles has a clue about them.
Omega on the other hand has huge brand awareness and are on many high streets.
I haven't seen the the Blancpain collab' models yet but the price itself is enough to put me off.
The Moon swatch models at £200 seemed ok value and my 15 year old son loves his.

I think with the Sistem51, applied markers, much nicer strap and hardware, better packaging etc it's fairly priced compared to the MoonSwatch. I don't think there is a combination of dials, colours and date/no date to swing it for me though. The Moon swatch models at £200 seemed ok value and my 15 year old son loves his.

It was in Covent Garden but to clarify it was an “exhibition model” (my words) which they had for people to try on. Good idea in my opinion as they didn’t have the same for the Omega x. Well, good for me as it made my mind up, maybe not good for them as I’m no longer interested! Sure they’ll cope ![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
They didn’t have any to buy but no queue and I walked straight in. Like others have said, doesn’t seem to have the same buzz as before.
