It’s great what a new strap does for a watch.

I was bought this Rotary a few years ago by my much missed late Mother in Law. So it has great sentimental attachment. It needed a new battery, so I also treated it to this rather thick strap. It’s really lifted the watch. Given it a new lease of life as one of my wearing a suit watches.

Yup, I’d guess Al Qasr. If not Al Qasr then definitely one of the ones in that complex. Must be getting a bit hot and humid by now?

First battery change. Easy enough, just needed some patience and a bit of technique for the ball. The 9F is stunning...apologies for crap pics!

Great article about 9F

I had a ‘Casioak’ in grey, much too big - I’d argue this is as well, but I like it more, so that’s how I justify it

Holiday watch has received an Ali Express “homage” to the Isofrane. Giving it a run out in the hope the sun stays around this weekend after the deluge over the past few days.

Not worn this for a while, so thought it was about time. My 2009 Speedmaster GMT. It was serviced late last year and runs beautifully.

It’s a case back opener. Leaves no marks and works well. Cheap as well.

Thanks. Will look for one for the next time any of my quartz watches need a battery.

I'd been neglecting this a bit - the dial really sparkles in the sun.
