Please don't think I'm highjacking this thread, but I'm hoping a Breitling regular might be able to help. I'm thinking of getting an ocean racer strap for my SOH 42 so that I can wear it everyday. I love the mesh bracelet it's currently on, but it's too dressy for my day job. Do many of you interchange straps regularly? Is it as simple as I think it is? Thanks.
Merry Crimbo. Just an update to your question. With a spring bar tool changing the strap was fairly easy. Always do from the back (will conceal scratches if any are made). Buckle was already fitted by Breitling Boutique when sizing so all I had to do was remove the croc strap by unclipping end pins, then fit the OR rubber strap.

That does look nice, I have deployment envy smile

Christmas present to myself, picked it up yesterday.

I really like that, is it a Breitling strap?
Thanks and yes, it's referred to as the "Ocean Classic: Steel".
I was looking at the strap in T H Baker in Brighton yesterday whilst buying my a wife a necklace for her birthday, the strap is very nice and surprisingly thick. I also had a look at the new version of the Aerospace the Evo, I like what they've done to it some subtle but nice changes and a Pro 3 bracelet which I would like for my Seawolf.

Just thought i would show you my little trio of Breitlings, bought the Navitimer in 2005, the SuperOcean 46 in 2010 and the SuperOcean 44 in 2011. I bought them all with SS bracelets but have also bought leather straps for the 44 and the Navitimer, i have a rubber diver strap for the 46. That gives me a variation on different occasions for wearing them, they have been excellent in their use and have had no problems with them whatsoever.

In the box

With the others

I bought a leather NATO before Christmas but not sure which one to put it on as its a bit on the thin side.
Very nice collection smile

Just to keep this thread alive and let the Breitling faithful know I just ordered 2 straps from panatime.com (I'll post pics when they arrive). I went for a cognac red calf leather and a silver Kevlar (carbon weave) both deployant straps. Waiting to see them as I'm hoping quality is as expected and I think I'm gonna also go for the green ostrich skin one too.

On another note, I popped into the bond street boutique and once again help and service was second to none. Scott is a top bloke.
Look forward to the pics smile

Hello gang my straps for BB Motors from Panatime arrived (according to USPS tracking) they are still in USA! Lol

On 1st impressions I am happy, the leather is supple yet the back to them is rigid so will take time and wear to soften, see pics

The silver is Kevlar, waterproof and has carbon fibre effect. The red (cognac) is calf leather. Apparently it's cognac colour. First looked brown to me so have taken pic against something red, your thoughts please wink

All in all I'm happy at around £50ish for the pair
Both look good, looks brown to me.

It`s a Super Avenger Military, it`s a limited run of 500 9but Breitling do like to change TINY details of "limited" watches and release a load more, which is annoying!

Hmmm, yep and something will have to go, I`m thinking the Seawolf Code Yellow will have to go! (one of a 1000)
Love the numerals smile

I have an Oris Blue Eagles which also has a 24 hour dial - so I do have some experience in reading these dials. I will admit that they are confusing.
I will regret saying this but I`m excited about being confused! :-)

Neil, agree, that's a smart looking piece. How do you find the watch wears - do you find it (too) large/ heavy at 45mm when worn with the steel strap?
I wear it daily and never found it too big and because It's ti It's not as heavy as steel. It does mark quite easily but mine still looks fresh smile I've only really worn it on rubber as think it looks nicer and the strap is new looking from the refurb.

Not sure what it's worth but paypal is safe as far as I know. I'd have a look and see if you can find any second hand and base your price around that and go for most expensive postage option.
Currently for sale on Ebay and I am open to offers smile. Just put a deposit down on a SuperOcean Heritage. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Breitling-Chronomatic-Li...

lovely watch just booked to go to New York in June so no funds and Mission Control wouldn't let me have another B anyway frown (In every marriage there is always someone in charge the other person is the husband)

Hello again all. I'm currently having fits! My wife ordered me something and today the postman deliver a pack with a USPS stamp and Panatime as the sender. So I know it's a strap(s) for my B for Bentley but she won't let me open it and now it's been hidden.

Did she go deployant or tang? Ostrich, shark, alligator or calf? How many? What colours? Now OCD is so bad I'll have to get to the boutique for strap boxes and end pins! WWWHHHHYYYYYY! Lol

Rant over hope your all well pics to follow.... Eventually
I feel yor pain, I had my diver pro 3 hidden for 4 months odd until my birthday it was a long wait.

On a good note I'm off to New York on Friday smile so will paying a vist to the Breitling store (window shopping only!) smilesmile

Out of interest, what do breitling charge for a service? I've got a 6.75 I might service. The only time I sent it to them (accidentally left the crown open and filled it with water and suntan lotion) they did the work free as a gesture of good will! Not really sure why, though I suspect maybe they noticed there was a problem with the seal, or just because it took over 2 months!
Hi think this is a current link
