I got outbid on a 7A38 6050 the other day. I didn't even know it existed until I saw it listed. JDM model, slightly bigger case.

It was battered, but I wanted it. I bottled it at £80. Regret it already.
If you're into Seiko 7Axx's then you ought to check out this dedicated forum:

http://www.seiko7a38.com/apps/forums/

There's a topic on the 7A38-6050, too:

http://www.seiko7a38.com/apps/forums/topics/show/7...

I regretted the one before (back in April). Grrrr ....

My '85er - first analogue quartz chrono, 7A28 movement, arguably one of the best standard quartz chrono movements too.

Here's my 7A28-7040 - in fact, my only 7A28:

Personally I prefer the 7A38 day / date version - another lightly modded one:

Well I certainly recognise the last two: a 7A38-7100 and a 7A38-701B 'Vulcan'.
The same images used in your eBay listings, when you sold them fairly recently.

So presumably you must be 'BigMacNoFat' then ? wink

I've still got both mine, fortunately. smile

My Sportstech ( I've no idea of the exact model ), about 20 years old:
That's actually a quite rare 6m13 Perpetual Calendar and from the 'Age of Discovery' range - there are a whole range of complicated Seiko's that have the rotating crown to change mode - I have a few myself including that one.

Ah, thanks.

I bought it in the Middle East and at the time I could never find one exactly the same in the UK. I think I paid about £150 in about 1992 or thereabouts.

I want one of these, but my wife will leave me if I buy another watch!
Mine is sitting in my bedside draw for the want of a crown , hens teeth are easier to get . Fixed , it would take over from my TAG

I've been searching for a specific look of Seiko chrono, and that fits the bill perfectly! Model number? (Or is it a mod?)

I'll dig it out when I get in, I got it from H Samuel just after Christmas. I hardly wear it now as I wear the G-Shock for work and the Tissot I bought just after when I go anywhere else so it spends most of it's time in it's box.

I do also have this old thing from my youth, but don't wear it any more.

I've seen this online a few times and absolutely love it.

Quite possibly a silly question, but where would be the best place to look for one?

7T92 is the movement type, after a dig around I think the model number is SNDA75P1. Can anyone else confirm?
Also, Creation don't seem to stock them, and Amazon appears not to have any available, so can anyone else suggest where best to buy from?
Cheers
