I just received a SKX007J from Creationwatches today. Did the same thing, paid £9 for the low value 'gift' after the email. Good service, looks great, very pleased.
I'm considering purchasing a Monster from this lot, and I'm a bit confused.

Do you pay them £9 to mark it up as a low value "gift" or are you refering to the FedEx postage costs?

Cheers

Andy

That must have been the fedex cost.

I got mine from creation and paid for fedex (worth it as you can track it all the way). I certainly didnt pay for it to be marked as a gift etc, It just was anyway.

I didn't pay the £9 and it was marked a "Horological Gift" with a value of $65. $65 has been mentioned by others who did payr for Fex-Ex.

It took exactly 2 weeks for the date of order and I was able to track it quite well through the DHL website.

Has anyone bought from Seiya?

Good experience?

I'm really taken by the Night Monster with orange face, although i'm still tempted by a purple monster....

I guess i'll have to pay import tax etc?

My update email today from FedEx says "DELIVERED"... I can't wait to get home!!!!!!

Toshi strap in black and orange ready to go on as well so will post up a pic at some point soon.

Have to say the black and purple Monster is one I'd like to have... it may happen depending on how much I like the OM in the flesh :-)

I got my Night Monster (black/black) from Seiya, absolutely awesome service - took longer for it to get from darn sarf to me, than it did to get from Japan to the UK though!

Did have to pay import duty, iirc it came to about £35 or so. All said it was knocking on for £300 including delivery/tax/duty etc.

this thread irritates me!! Every time I read it, I keep getting the urge to set and wear my Night monster, still - wrist time isn't a bad thing!

I went for the cheapest posting option. They then emailed and asked for £9 to send it via fedex (or whatever) and marked as a gift. It arrived after about 5 days if IIRC.

Holy cow, that's pricey. As for the company, perhaps if you can buy from them via Amazon, there may be buyer protection available.

Its not cheap but Seija have it at 379 dollers, plus import tax etc which is gonna bring it in at about £300 at the moment.

Yes, but above all you can trust Seiya Japan. I've had my Monster a while now and I know I can't afford it but I just lust for one of these, purely for the technology:-

But if I win the lottery, I'll join the waiting list - only five made a year:-

Watch lust - such a dangerous thing.

Black on Black is what I went for simply because it looks understated. Orange on Black would be a focal point, Purple on Black will be subtle yet different.

Not sure about White on Black, it would look good but would it look old fast...

If you put some effort in, you could double the length of that signature. How about putting the lyrics to November Rain in?
