Indeed it is, all 105g of it. A blank canvas for straps.
I'd have that on a snow camo strap!

What a great idea. So far I have black, orange, light blue and olive green. Where would you suggest?

Lovely. How do you find your Doxa? I have one on my ‘to get’ list.
Thanks. To be honest, I've had it on my list for a while too, and when I returned the Railmaster I repurposed that cash into this.

It manages to be modern and vintage at the same time. The bracelet is awesome, with really decent build quality. The finishing all round is good, about right for the money.

Comfort is very high. Fit is far better than the Seiko turtles I've had, including the SLA033, new SRPs and a 6309 7040.

Only headache is deciding which colour to go for, but the searambler fits nicely with the other stuff I have and brings a bit more of a vintage feel. Love it so far.
Thanks for the feedback, I am a little hesitant to order one without trying one on as they are a unique shape but it is one that keeps coming back into my head!

I feel I should go orange for my first Doxa simply for the heritage factor and I could do with some colour in my little hoard. I could easily have any colour they offer though.

Looks great on the grey NATO obviously smile

I like the Doxa - if you like the general style & also the backstory you might also want to take a look at the Aquadive brand (owned by the same parent company as Doxa):

Quite a bit of info on the Panerai and Paneristi FB pages - the go to manufacturer is

https://www.horusstraps.com/collections/panerai

I'm currently looking for a PAM 187 - looks like it might be some wait frown

Plain bad ass.
I normally am hugely sceptical of Pams with more than 2 hands, but that’s really nice.

Got this on today.

I have one too, don’t see them around much!

Funny watch, can’t quite remember whan I got mine, could it be 1991? Or maybe 1998! I still have a big soft spot for it

Not a big dial but massively legible!

People generally don’t like mine :-)

Lunar Pilot today on an Uhren-Armband.de strap.

It always takes a day or two to get used to the Bulova as it’s a bit of a heffer but it’s one of my favourites.

Cheers all!

Well it arrived,Casio Cognit Schema special issue for the Archaeology Institute of America. No idea how many were made in the early 90s but going by how much info is online about them (bare minimal) and how many remain on sale from collectors (I bought the last one it seems), I'd hazard double digits out there.

Yes it looks like a child's watch at first glance but it's beautiful to my eyes and reeks of nostalgia, even the beeps are true to the era lol.
