Little lume shot

ETA - any suggestions where I can get a distressed grey leather strap (24/22) that won't break the bank welcomed.

Try

http://www.steveostraps.com He is a top bloke hand making straps in the U.K., even if he does not have something on the site you like he will make things to order.

Or have a look on Etsy, they have some amazing straps on there.

Or mad dog http://www.maddog-straps.com for something really cool.

well, I like it smile - I think it's also a favourite of Jay Leno. He wears it quite often on his Garage videos.

Today I’m wearing a Longines Maxi Evidenza.

I often think of moving it on as I wear it rarely, but when I do I appreciate that it is a lovely watch.

Yes, that is lovely actually. A lot going on, but it's quirky and I like it.

Thanks.

Because i wear it so rarely the day and date aren't correct so the moonphase is out too.

The one time I took the watch to value and sell the jeweller baulked as it was deemed too complicated to service.

I hadn't considered that. It could be a £2k(?) watch that requires a £2k service!

It’s a 7751 - it’s got some add ons from the ‘50 but at heart the same pretty robust movement. Parts availability shouldn’t be any tougher either.

I like the watch but the bracelet... folded links?
Folded, yes, but look how tight they still are?

Say what you like about them, they've always made some great looking watches.
