Impromptu purchase from a trip to Bicester today.

Was on my list at some point and very happy with it.

Freaking hell that's nice! How much was it? Did they have anything else of interest?

That Hamilton is superb.

Today I’ve opted for Quartz (I know)

A Bulova precisionist which is apparently the only watch in the world to measure to 1/1000 of a second.

It’s a busy face and extremely substantial at 49mm

Any bigger and it would have a pendulum.

Love that. Just finished reading Jack Heuer's autobiography.. well worth a read especially as it's a free download as a pdf here (emails to Kindle fine too)..

Today I’m wearing the beast.

An Oris pro diver.

I’ve owned it for 2 years, doesn’t come out often and at 52mm it’s the largest I have.

Very well made and the box is interesting too.

Opposite end of the Oris spectrum to the last poster. This was my choice today.
