I'm amazed that AP haven't trademarked the hexagonal crown.
I really like that. As I have something pricey incoming, I don't need another lust object. I really don't.
Ahem, octagonal! I really like that. As I have something pricey incoming, I don't need another lust object. I really don't.

iirc, AP actually do hold the rights, albeit only when an octagonal bezel specifically features prominent visible screws - ala the 2014 SWI case.

The finish reminds me of the 2 Tag Heuers I have, I LOVE it, I first saw it on the Tag Heuers of the mid 80s, I’ve had this since 1987

Both Very nice ,I have a Tag Heuer 2000 Owned from 1998 its only ever needed batterys plus a single minor repair ,on and off wearing it daily in hands on work still takes it it in stride . quite remarkable considering the environment it used in still .![](https://thumbsnap.com/sc/HubNaghD.jpg)
However might retire it for a Seiko spb 143

At a shade under £20k new, there is no blooming way I would pay that for that watch (ask me about the new grail watch...)
It works off rotors apparently. Solid platinum case IIRC (it's a heavy thing) and a dial you can just get lost in. Beautiful box with it as well.
