This arrived last week. Love how slim it is for a dive watch.

This for me today ...

Ah the black hand version! Lovely piece of Horology.
That's lovely. I have a humble Trident 600 and have been very pleased with it.

Seeing as Photobucket have deleted all my images I'd better post another pick of my best watch up!

Are these having a large giraffe yikes AFAIK, there's only one Pelagos, and no specials, so why over 2 1/2 times over list?!

Just on the inflation - what inflation thread and began looking at old ARGOS catalogues

Was it 1989? Wow...!
Well guess their comment of 'outstanding value' ran true

Item 8 .... A mere snip at £29:99

Just had a nostalgic and surprisingly enjoyable 20 minutes reading the catalogue from my year of birth, 1981, and spotted a few household items from my childhood that I had forgotten about.

Mum definitely had that Beldray ironing board with the asbestos stand!

Just went through the entire 1973 catalogue nerd Great memories of products we had. Can't believe the prices, car batteries were the most expensive motoring item at around £10 smile

Fun game! Had a look through the 1982 catalogue and the world i was born into was a very different one. The biggest TV i could see was 14". Cameras were the sort you'd now find in the national science museum. Tennis racquets were the old fashioned long shaft, small head design (did innuendo exist in '82?). Pages and pages of electric bread knifes...

I still want one of those Casio calculator watches though smile

Aim to get this back on leather and wear it for a bit.

Doesn't feel too small at 36mm but I'd probably wear it more if it was 38mm.

It would look very slightly small against your wrist if you didn't have it quite so tight. That looks properly painful.

It's a very lightweight perlon strap - I can barely tell it's on and if it was much looser then it would move round my wrist.

I would say the effect is exaggerated by the false position required to pose and take a photo.
