Omega x Swatch Collaboration

I bought both straps, as well as the watch, on ricardo.ch (the Swiss ebay).
It's a very Swiss thing with most sellers only accepting bank payments and only shipping within Switzerland.

Anybody wear theirs daily? I hear they have a tendancy to shed parts and generally more for keeping rather than wearing.
Yeah, I wear my one a few days each week and I have done since March. Holding up nicely - Its on a cheap leather strap though which I need to replace soon!pistonheadforum said:

I've been wearing mine almost daily since Christmas. The only noticeable marks are to the watch face, it seems to get basic scratches very easily which is to be expected for a plastic face. The bezel and the watch body are absolutely fine. Ive only learnt of Nato strops from this thread. Are you all buying these from Swatch, or are there good aftermarket options?
Wanting to avoid I buy a rubbish 3rd party strap....
Ive got a Pluto, and im not keen on the grey strap thats with it, so maybe picking out the burgundy detail into the strap would set it off.
Edit - I just realised they are OMEGA straps, and are more than the value of the Moonswatch!

Most of the ones pictured are just cheap NATO straps. I don't think anyone on here has put one on an Omega strap.Wanting to avoid I buy a rubbish 3rd party strap....

cnswatchbands.com is popular.
The Neptune is the nicest MoonSwatch, imho. But they are very hard to come by and command by far the most premium on the grey market.
The Blue dial is lovely and the bioceramic plastic looks good in a bold colour. This is what I don't like about my own Moon. The plastic fails at imitating stainless steel.

I went to a watch shop to enquire about something and brought my Mars moonSwatch along on the off chance they could remove the strap for me (I have a red elastic one arriving from eBay soon I wanted to swap it for).
They took it into the back and about 30seconds later came out and popped the Watch and the now separate Velcro strap in a bag for me. I put it in my pocket and went home.
After I arrived I had a look and they’ve scratched the red ‘bio ceramic’. I’m really annoyed but as I didn’t check while in store I can’t really go back.
Any ideas how I can improve? Polly filler and match some spray paint?

While it is not hard to swap out a strap with swing bars, it can be difficult, especially if you have never done it before. Also, of course you do it from the back and not from the front, like the shop did on you case.
This being the first Swatch with traditional spring bars, they obviously have no practice of changing a strap with this system....
I'd be very, very carefully sanding the ridges of, but I wouldn't attempt to sand the scratches out completely.
