Use the chronograph for getting crumbles just right. But my really useful complication is a Poljot alarm, for camping and at home when I want to wake up without disturbing rest of the family.

I used to think that, cost aside, an annual/perpetual calendar would be a very useful complication. As i understand it a lot of them can be hard to set and as such once you've got it set correctly, you're best off keeping it running. A lot of people wear watches in rotation, so if you've got a manual wind perpetual calendar, do you have to remember every couple to days to go back and wind it? Granted this is a first world problem and if someone gave me an A. Lange & Söhne Tourbograph Pour le Mérite I'm sure i'd find a way to cope.
For me one of the most useful complications would be a power reserve indicator, which i don't have on any of my watches.
Recently acquired stingray strap for my Orient Star classic has been getting a lot of wrist time this week. The original Orient bracelet is tinny and cheap feeling and I'd had it on a plain polished black leather strap before, but when I spotted the stingray strap it seemed the perfect bit of subtle bling.

It looks flexible but really isn't, and the skin/hide/whatever it's called is pretty thick. The polished bits feel almost as hard as stone and the spring bar on this Orient fits quite close to the case. Glad I didn't ram the Bergeon through my finger getting it on; fortunately no scratches to the case.

Really like that strap! Looks different and intersting, works well with that watch too 
Thanks for all the kind comments on the Daytona, it does indeed make a nice paring with the SD43 
The temptation to flip is strong, with offers coming in thick and fast but I think I may sit on it for some time. I am very (very) tempted to put it on a leather strap in the short term however and if it looks suitably dressy (and it really does wear small) it might mean my beloved Cellini needs to go
