Is that a 721?
In going to guess at a Precista PRS20.

Edit - the PRS20 doesn't come in a box...

Deserved a clearer pic...
Looks fantastic with the roman numeral bezel. Loving mine.

I'd like it more if the pushers weren't knurled on the sides...

befor mine came I felt like that. However in the watch it looks so much better than in any photos I have ever seen. Have a look at this vid that shows the watch off well.

it's a lovely watch. I almost think the roman numerals jar with the rest of it though in some way - can't put my finger on it. It's quite a modern and functionally focused design.

Agreed. It's also why I don't like the side knurling - it serves no purpose.

Well, that's pretty much written off 90% of watch design apart from an hour hand and a dial smile

I like the idiosyncratic Roman bezel (has yet to be pointed out the numeral series is not classically charachtered, if not without precedent). Not a problem if a tach bezel is ever preferred as Lorne kindly bundled one, and am impressive thing it is too - including knurled pushers, which I also like.

So ner! tongue out

Thank you... I'm quite taken with its design purity. It was sourced in Naples... I could not find one in the UK

Considering the way it's put together, and the back story it's a great value watch,

I have one with the original face and I have to say the whole package is quality, In terms of general finish I would say on a par with a sports rolex and a notch behind the Ingenieur of about 10 years vintage,

You should have mentioned that it looks like Precista PRS20, that might have helped...

Same here but they were kind enough to give me a coffee while they checked and confirmed no stock was likely to be allocated...

Until they looked at the (dusty) reverse perhaps...
