I've had an email from Ivan advising he's to dispatch my watch tomorrow and to expect it in two to four days.

Re PayPal, I had a similar 21 day hold on funds as my a/c was linked to a card and not my bank, it took a few days faffing about to link it and confirm it directly to my bank a/c, this seemed to work but was a bit of a bind. Maybe your probs are of a similar nature?

Could the various Happy Parties please post who they bought these through? I've checked eBay and the only sellers I could find are not the names I've seen on this thread.

Worse, I'm being chiselled for more money that that for a damn clasp. :grr:

I bought mine from Holicbox, but Isvhc (iirc) is the same person. Seems to be legit so far.

Everyone's gone for the nylon strap though, mine (which I should be able to pick up tomorrow) should be on a steel strap, and if my Night Monster and other Seiko watch are anything to go by, it should be pretty decently made. Pics to follow as soon as I get it smile

Mine when it turns up (Chinese new year) will also be on a steel strap, and black as blue was out of stock, oh well I might buy another, since finding this section I seem to have gone watch mad.

It's a bit close to the mark and very similar to the original, but I do like the Tao International 'Bell & Ross BR03' hommage, which according to sellers on the bay, has working countdown and alarm features. It is quartz, but then again so is the B&R wink ~£60!

Then add a decent rubber/nato strap and job done! However maybe;

I don't know ... I'm still waiting for my Ball to arrive from Jura Watches and to pass the time (and impatience!) I'm looking for another watch! Tao International do some nice Panerai hommages with display back (6497 movement, although roughly decorated) that are quite tempting and ~£50-60 including P&P.
Any links for this? I can not find any?

Got mine today biggrin

Was a bit surprised at the size of it, much smaller than I anticipated - you lot must have wrists like twigs!!!

My wrapping paper!!!

Not-so-hairy wrist shot smile

ETA: The steel strap is a bit cheap and nasty, but when you pay £38 for it, you can't really complain... There's just no 'weight' behind it like the strap on my NM. Easy enough to pull a link out of though, but I may end up getting a G10 nato eventually.

The seller's stock changes week by week, so it's worth having a look every now and again. He does have both watches for sale, but the BR01 is in either blue or yellow ... Occasionally black or white will appear smile

Is this thread starting to feel like a 'fifth column' in the Watches forum? whistle

"To hell wiv your imperialist Rolex and filthy Omega's!" soapbox
"Give us good watches!Cheap watches! People Watches!Forward Comrades, Forward!!!" tank

it's only £43 if you want the box as well (NIB = New In Box)

They come packaged well enough to be sent without the box, and you never really use the box so you might as well save yourself a fiver using the link at the top of the page, and get one without it smile

He also sells a power reserve 'Panerai' hommage with automatic display back, in silver or PVD black smile

Pretty cool for £58!
