Not too keen on the skull - but anyone who appreciates watches should be nursing a semi at this one. ![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)

I passed the RM shop in Paris the other day but I didn't have time for anything other than pressing my nose to the window.
My new pub watch has arrived; although now it's here I've realised that it'll get used for more than that as it is a really nice piece. It's a Zenith Defy and although I have the model ref (02.0382.380) I still can't find out that much about it. "02" refers to the case/strap material, "0382" is the model ref and "380" is the movement ref - in this case a Zenith in-house 2572PC (modified in house in believe?).
It was advertised as being early 80's but after further reading I reckon it's more likely to be mid/late 70's. For anyone interested there is some more info on the movement here - http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?00&...
I'm very happy with it. It's a good size, looks smart, from a decent manufacturer and it didn't cost the earth![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Werent there a number of these available NOS a while ago?
I believe so but can't find links to any sales (or any info at all for that matter). They are sometimes referred to as "Surfs" as it say's "Surf" on the caseback but that relates to the water resistance and there were lots of different styles carrying the same reference. If I found a NOS one at a decent price I'd buy another.Miguel Alvarez said:

I think it is too, maybe because I'm a 70's child ![thumbup](/inc/images/thumbup.gif)

Here is mine... I wear it everyday. Looks a bit boring compared to some of the vintage watches on here. :-)
