Really interesting thread. When I look at how many different watches are available, I do sometimes wonder who is buying them all! The answer is here! biggrin

As to my own modest collection; I’ve set myself the target of not exceeding the capacity of my watch cabinet!! Unless of course I get ‘the call’ from my AD for a new Pepsi and Batman!!

By the look of things, the ‘Batman’ box is already nicely ticked in that collection!

Love this cabinet, do you have any details on it?

It’s from XTELARY and it’s just the right side of not being too big, but big enough to handle the habit! Great quality and cheap as chips: https://www.amazon.co.uk/XTELARY-Leather-Automatic...

Not done an SOTC for a while, so here's the current collection.

This is about my 4th G-Shock - finally got one that's not too big

My first Zenith, picked up last year & I love it

Reacquired this from the person who bought it off me 9 years previously

Took me a while to track one of these down in the right condition, for the right price

Probably the last watch I'd sell - The 16600 is just perfect

Quite a rare version of the FF. A much better size for me than the regular version, although 42mm would be even better.

I only have the PRS18 auto (on the left). The COSC Quartz version got almost no wear

Another requisition

This was a cheapy & has served me really well as my holiday watch including the epic motorcycle tour of Vietnam I did with my eldest son in 2018

I had a few of the re-edittion Turtles, but this one has stuck

I'd been without a Speedy Pro in the collection for several years before picking this mint condition one up

This was a slightly over-list replacement for one I (foolishly) sold a couple of years earlier

I've had this little gem for a while. The dial and hands are just beautiful.

I'm a big Sinn fan - had all these a few years now

Just about the last watch IWC made that I really like

The Autavia's

The perfect (for me) version of the Orfina PD chrono

I paid strong money for this at the time, but that's irrelevant now. It's a full collectors set including case back stickers & the original purchase receipt.

The only watch I've ever had made for me

A lovely un-restored 6309 - 7040

Three I keep for sentimental reasons

I've just sold a Seiko Samurai & have a blue dialled Sinn U1 on the way.

These days I try to keep to one in / one out, but deciding which to let go gets harder all the time.

Slimmed mine down over the last few years, now quite happy with my modest collection

Rolex Submariner 16800 1985
IWC Portuguese Chronograph 2018
Omega Planet Ocean 2500 orange bezel
Omega 300 Professional Blue wavy dial
Seiko 5 Sports
Obligatory G Shock every collection should have one

All of my watches don't even amount to a single 'proper' Rolex/Panerai/Omega (though at least I do have one of those) but I enjoy having many different watches to wear and try to cycle them round at least every 2-3 days...

somehow I managed to have the Pagani Design watch in 2 photos, I don't have 2 of them... d'oh!

Out of all these I have some real favourites, the Orient Mako XL, the CW Pilot mk1, the Citizen titanium eco-drive and the Seiko Urban Sports (the black/red one)

The Omega F300hz Geneve was an 18th birthday present in 1973 and I recently had it serviced and polished after it had sat in a drawer for probably 35 years, now I make sure I use it often as it's a memory of my late parents.

I think I'm done for now but can see me moving a handful on in a year or so once I decide which I just don't enjoy wearing.

Oh, and I blame this forum for a few of them as I kept saying 17 was enough then someone posted a pic of the Orient, then the Casio Edifice, then the Pagani design.... but you know, I can stop any time.... I really can....

Is the Casio Edifice a weighty watch?

I’m a fan of a Bucky watch and do like the look of said watch. If it’s got decent mass then I’ll probably pick one up.

Yep, just weighed it, 160gm the heaviest of all my watches I think, feels really nice on the wrist too

Casio Edifice Gunmetal EFR-563GY-1AVUDF - I got mine from Watch Shop for £100.80 in their new year sale, I think it's about £126 normally

Now that's a collection!
Lots to like in this list, it's all killer no filler smile

I agree with you on the 16600 Sea Dweller, and often think about grabbing one.

I particularly enjoyed the casual nature with which you labelled "the autavias"!!

Have you got a BLU1 coming?

I love that you weighed it for a forum member! This is the sort of thing I'd do. Disappointed we didn't get the weight to 1 decimal place though tongue out

My little collection too. Ten in all and I am thinking that’s enough. I’d only add one if one leaves to make room. No particular order...
