Does the new SD43 only come with cyclops?
Yes!

Some people have had the cyclops removed from watches that have them

I like them and they wear extremely well- my wrists 6.75" and it fits great
Funny - I have 7.5" wrists & wear quite a few biggish watches but I found it too big for me when I tried one on in a (grey) dealers.
That’s interesting! How tall are you? I think it’s always good to consider the watch on the whole person...whenever you take a wrist shot it’s easy to think somethings too big. I think as long as the lugs don’t oversale the end of your wrist then it’s all good.

On some, yes, but the AR would be ruined on the SD43 methinks!

Not for me - the 16600 is the perfect SD (IMO) - I don’t like the cyclops. I’d rather find a good used one of those than a new SD43

The bigger 43 works for me, and seems to sit better in a way. Might be the 22mm lugs or the height to width ratio, but I like the fit. It's very shiny though - I'd almost prefer if it was less like jewelry and more tooly.

Ditto, but perhaps a tad small for the OP

Someone on a watch thread here suggested buying a good quality copy to test out whether the watch suits you,I personally had always wanted a milguass,so i got a copy off alibaba,i dont want a milguass anymore...
I also want a milgauss, but don't necessarily want to purchase a copy from the Far East, as it doesn't sit well with me to give money to forgers...

As you no longer want it (presumably because you didn't like the way it wore), does that mean it might be available to s young scruff like me?

The only Rolex I really like
It's my favourite too and mine's a keeper. I've also got a BLNR GMT, but I much prefer the SD. It doesn't wear that big IMO and seems much easier to get hold of than some of the more popular models.

The only Rolex I have ever truly wanted & put my name down as soon as it was announced at Basel 2017.
Just over a year later I picked it up at RRP … minus the warranty card.
Perfect proportions, and fits a treat on my 8" wrists.
End game with dive watches for me. Perfect.

Yes, unless removed by an owner.
