Weirdly, I'm not a fan of the titanium yacht master so haven't requested one from ad.

As such, I'm sure it'll be the most popular of the releases and everyone spouting "investment" will think I'm mad but there we go!

I like the Yachtmaster and the revised Daytona but to be honest, this year it’s the Tudor releases that have got my attention. The BB54 looks nice and the revised fixed bezel 32/36/39/41 look great. When I’m next in town I’ll have a look at the 39 I think.

Will be worth a fortune immediately as the hype beasts all scrabble to get it.

I am rather impressed by the new Yachtmaster 42.

Perfect size for me and at £11,800 the price point isn’t too bad.
Nice mail from the AD today…they wont be taking orders or wait list requests until May…

Milgauss is now officially discontinued too.
Oooh… finally. Will give my z-blue an airing for the next few days; maybe even in our local where the lighting makes it completely illegible laugh

I've had a 116400GV since 2011 - value did absolutely nothing for years and years. Doesn't really matter tbh, as I'll never sell it unless I found myself in very dire straits. Beautiful part of the collection then, as now.

Joining the list?
This one has to be a joke surely? I saw it on a couple of Youtube Channels, including Watchfinder but it must surely be a joke?

That aside the new Yachtmaster looks very nice, would be my pick

I'm feeling the YM Ti as well, I think it'll be a massive hit.
Btw, any idea why the main Rolex thread was locked? Though there were a lot of opposing views but it never descended into anything that seemed unacceptable

Maybe just hit size limit? It used to be 500 pages, but I thought things changed a while back.
If that's the case, normally the mod closing old thread starts next volume...

I was wondering what happened to it too, it never crossed any forum rules i'm aware of, hopefully another volume will be created

So the same posts can be made for another 500 pages?

hehe

I enjoyed engaging with people whom were genuinely interested or had watches, a bit like groundhog day with others who offered nothing but glib comments or disected and changed wording in posts to fit whatever their narrative was.

With the odd exception, I don’t think those of us who are genuinely interested in watches are contributing to that thread anymore tbh.

My AD text and said I can probably have their first OP. It’s stupid as hell, I love it.

Received a call earlier asking what I thought of the new models.

I'm with you on that; have said I would have a 41mm version of that in a heartbeat!

Have previously requested a RG Skydweller or RG Daydate with chocolate dials so they just get swapped over but really really like the blue green dial on the RG after initially dismissing it like the crazy OP.

Seemingly the phones have been non stop since announced on Monday from all around the UK, but they are only registering interest from the last week of April.
