if you've been offered £6k by a dealer why do you still have it ? he must have been drunk or doesn't like making a margin banghead

Agreed.

Phone him back and sell it.

Dealer selling one for less than £6,500 on Fleabay, take the £6000 :-)

I get the feeling, from various Watch Forums and seeing 'repeated' adverts on the above mentioned website, is that the market for premium watches is slowing. OK, the very rich are never affected by economic downturns but many people are. So, look out for price drops on Sub LVs and Milguass.

How much are the Milgauss models then? (I'm assuming all steel with the greenish glass) - both RRP and 'real world' (I'm assuming, like the Daytona, you can only get one from a trader at a big markup)??

Out of all the modern Rolexes it's the only one that appeals at the moment...

The typical asking price for the Milguass GV is around UK£ 7,000 or Euro 8,000, however whether many sales are being achieved at these prices now, I am doubtful.

I would take 6000 & call it a day, the dealer must be off his rocker to offer you that. Most dealers have more them two on their books & retailing them for 6500-7000. So my thought is a dealer will not do it for only 500 profit.

On the topic of the milgauss GV the rumor is Rolex is having problem with the glass supplier as it has gone bust. I recently added a Milgauss black dial to my collection & am still on the list for a GV but the dealer has said it could be a very long wait.
