I sold a nokia 8800 sirroco box on there not too long ago, maybe putting it under a different topic could help with the listing? General listing for rolex?

I have just spent loads of time photographing and describing a box & leather case for an Omega Speedmaster that I lost years ago, and then they tell me I can't list it because it's :

" An empty branded box, bag, tin or other container that could be potentially used to hold and sell a similar or identical product. "

Who'd have thought that empty boxes would be banned from sale!
You still got the hardcover instruction manual?

They are silly money for boxes...I've seen the difference in asking prices between Monacos boxed with papers and just watches, in some cases the difference is thousands, so from that perspective shelling out £400 to make £2000 doesn't seem too daft. scratchchin

I re-worded the ad to avoid Ebay's rule breaking detectors and got over £70 for it eventually smile

Cheers for all your advice.
