50 Daytona’s .

You were there at every purchase , not withstanding some were done over the phone.

Now he’s bought thousands of Rolex watches at Authorised Dealers.

Ha ha , I’ve read some tripe on here over the years but this is right up there with the best.
Let's make it 100k and I will dig out all the receipts etc

If I cannot produce at least 2,000 receipts for rolex purchases with corresponding bank statements to show I'm not just showing some third person's purchases, I give you £100k

If I can, you give me £100k

Money goes to a solicitor to hold while receipts are verified.

If you're not interested, you are the pussycat bully. Put up the money. Or kindly stfu.
When was your friend buying these Daytona's?

I bought an unworn, 3 month old Daytona, from Dom Hackett in 2014 for list price.

Thank you

Exactly that period. Started around 2012 ish. He bought a Hulk at -20% from an AD in sept 2012. Documentary proof available.

Went on for maybe 3-4y. 2013 was the golden year of at least 50 Daytonas

2016. Some bloke on a watch forum announced a Patek AD offered him a 5711 but he didn't want it. Did anyone want it direct from AD at 16k. Unworn etc. This dude bought it. (Any haters, documentary proof available....for a small fee which is negotiable)

The world has changed a lot. The Gram makes watches popular with people staring at them all day. But I cannot fathom where the money is coming from to pay ever increasing prices.

I'm a skint junior doctor. Even with 2.1% pay rise, it will be a very long time before my salary affords me a current Rolex, even entry level.

Out of interest, why would you have receipts and bank statements for someone else's purchases?

If you are also hating, I'll go 200k for you after I've doubled my original 100k.

This is great. 100k------>400k. Just like that

Any other haters/takers?

Gosh.

If I talk about these purchases too much, it might affect the purchaser. I don't want that for them. But if I have 100,000 reasons to talk, then obviously I will.

A skint junior doctor that can raise £100k to deposit with a solicitor to settle a discussion about Rolex watches his mate has allegedly bought and will let him have access to all the relevant paperwork.

You need help.

I suppose one man's 100k is another man's tenner.

In the spirit of the thread I was pissed in The Royal Exchange at Bank around 2011 and I met a very attractive young girl I sort of knew on the stairs down to the toilet.

Transpired she moved to London for a job at Boodles and we went into the shop for a chat and Champagne. I was offered a BNIB Nautilus. For some bizarre reason I said no.

I kick myself on a regular basis, for not buying it and for at least not trying to shag her.

I bet anyone 100k to prove me a liar.

Normally people on PHs make a £10 or maybe £100 bet but it doesn’t happen often.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone challenge someone else to a £100,000 bet before and then we have it happening twice in one evening. hehe

This Rolex thread has really turned to a load of old cringey bks.

If I'm a fantasist, you'll be 100k richer. Once you're ready, do tell me which solicitor you've chosen for the wager. I can't wait to take your money.

So are you a skint junior doctor or do you have 100k on the hip?

Yes.

I've been interested in watches since the 90s and even when you could pop into any dealer and get a steel sports watch more or less on demand the prices kept rising.

So that's bubble that's lasted at least 25 years.
