I don't know the age but I would quite confidently state that this is awesome. May I enquire what one might pay for such a device?
I’ve been keeping my eye out for a while and some list as a ‘buy it now’ for over £120+ but whether they sell is another story. From the auctions I've seen on the ‘bay, they can go very cheap, as little as £20, but these aren’t often the best condition! I paid £69 and I think it was a steal, no other ones have been nearly as good condition as mine, even the expensive ones have quite a few scratches...

No idea with a stopwatch but if it's the same as the watches then in your example 5 is the year and 3 the month
The 5 could be 1975, 1985, 1995, etc
The 3 is March.
Thank you very much for the info, very useful! Out of all the other ones that I’ve seen for sale with the same design and dial colour as mine that have included dates have all been 1960s, so perhaps it’s 1965 or 1975? The 5 could be 1975, 1985, 1995, etc

Just ordered one of these, never had a Seiko before as usually go Orient, but size and style of this really appealed.
Looks good on the brown strap as well, though obviously not seen it in person yet, should be early next week.
No idea if I paid a reasonable price at £141, but looks to be about right??

One thing I can say is that they usually have the crappiest photo's of some great watches.
I like it, be sure to post a pic when it arrives later this week.
Just had an email indicating I have to pay a £40 import tax, is that about normal in terms of amount? I was hoping none would apply, or at least be around the £20mark, otherwise wouldn't have bothered ordering via creation and gone second hand or something different.
Still puts it at under £200 but doesn't feel like the bargain it did.

Sounds a bit steep if it's solely import tax which should be £14 VAT and about £1 import tax. Royal Mail will then add £8 for the adminStill puts it at under £200 but doesn't feel like the bargain it did.
DHL etc charge more for admin.

Happens, I had one custome charge from a creation buy, and nothing for another, guess its just random parcel checking.Still puts it at under £200 but doesn't feel like the bargain it did.
