I don't. Yet. They do look suspiciously good value and I keep looking at them though. 70's cool with an alarm complication and they often go through at <£200 - what's not to like?

Just popping off to ebay again....

Treated myself to an SNJ025 'Arnie', as a present for working away the last 4 months

I will gladly show you my left handed Seiko...
So long as one of you kind people tell me where the fluck I put it, I have been searching the house for a month, it’s not even a big house.

A bargain from eBay arrived today , like new with all original box ,instructions, certificate and links , put the links on to fit my monster wrist and its a bit more elegant than my others .
It joins my Rotary aquaspeed, two pulsars (one is 40 years old ) an Accurist and a battered g shock .
My first seiko in 50 years the last was a present on my 14th birthday . Sadly stolen a few years later .

I’ve just ordered a SKX007, a Strapcode bracelet, double dome sapphire & a “Batman” ceramic insert. I’m going to DIY the modifications by following the various YouTube guides. I’ve been hankering after a new watch with a steel bracelet for a while...nearly went for a Tudor, this way I’ve convinced myself I’ve got an absolute bargain.

Keen to see what mods you decide on. Lots of pics please! I quite fancy the Crystal Times new SKX case with the He valve.

All I can say about the SKX007 is that it's by far my most worn watch... Despite more expensive pieces in my collection.

If I'd get to keep just one, that's the one.

It's a 7T92 ONYO 1/20 chronograph
Cost me a whole £67 inc postage . It has a couple of very light scuffs on the clasp .
It seems to keep very good time .

Really like that. And the winter one too.

Took a picture under artificial light as it brings out the bronze in the dial:

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful
Love the contrast between the red and white.
Every single time I see the snowflake I see something else about it. Just such a beautiful thing and it tells the time too!
I'm seeing it looking good in bronze with the silver accents, numerals, fingers etc the same. I think it would look amazing against the white and red.
For me, I'd like it if they dropped the Grand Seiko under the GS. It really is a watch that doesn't need to tell you what it is. It stands on its own. Maybe the same with the spring drive script also?
If you buy one you know all of these things anyhow.
On my wish list (my good lady already advised!). She hasn't seen the price yet! If indeed they're available for my 53rd birthday. Last prime number until 59 so deserves something special IMHO! I'll happily forego any gifts for 6 years to get my wrist on one of these.
If I sound envious it is because I am.
Enjoy!

I love Bellmatics ...

... but a word of warning; if you need to get one serviced, it could well cost you more than the purchase price... so either take a risk on eBay, or buy from someone who can vouch the watch is running OK. Even then, a mate bought a Bellmatic at a watch fair with my support (ie we tested it and everything was working fine), but it stopped after about 6 hours of wearing and needed a £200+ service to get it sorted properly...

My latest acquisition which arrived today, a "Sea Urchin" SNZF15J1.

Looks a little large on my skinny wrist but I love it!

It came from Creation Watches in 5 days and I didn't even get bummed with VAT.

£147 inc delivery and presentation box. smile
