Can't talk you out of it I'm afraid, I also have a weird hankering for this, for the reasons mentioned.

Unfortunately, a second hand aerospace is the same money... also with an interesting quartz movement and case material, so would probably get my cash first...

I've seen a pre-owned one of these for less than 8K (39.7mm Sedna Gold First Omega In Space.. 12K new, although I guess discounts are likely to be had on this model).. What do you guys think? It's certainly a lovely watch and might be a decent investment at this price..

I'm very lucky to have a few watches I am really happy with but never managed to tick the dive watch box:

Blancpain tribute to fifty Fathoms Mil-Spec. For some reason the "regular" fifty fathoms just doesn't appeal, mainly the hour markers, but this I would happily sell a couple of organs for.

that is one of the first Breitlings I like the look of - not doing a good job are we

Two thoroughly achievable watches tempting me at the moment:

1. Stowa Marine Classic with the handwound movement - smaller than the MO (which I have had in the past) and with the centre seconds would make a nice change:



2. Steinhart Marine Regulator - seriously tempted by a Dornblueth and this might just scratch that itch for a while ...

I’ve been considering a Tudor North Flag. But seeing as 2018 brought a Speedy Pro and a Superocean 44, it’s going to be a while until anything new comes.

If anything it will be new windows.

Still want a mint/black one but after ordering the Orion Sylph this morning it's been relegated to second place behind a Marloe Coniston.

If you own one which I'm guessing the wink implies - can I pick your brains on it how it wears being a good deal smaller diameter than the regular ff? How do you find it?

A certain Dom H has a uber lurvely (IMO obviously) Omega Speedmaster with a brown leather strap - if I could slap a deployment buckle on that, and if I hadn’t just impulse bought a Tudor bronze, reckon that would be on my arm by now...



P.S. these are described as ‘manual’, does that mean keeping it wound by hand? (Not sure what else it could mean tbh...)

"manual" means you have to wind it, "automatic" means it winds itself.
