As a cheapy holiday beater? You could afford to damage/lose/have it stolen (would anyone even steal it??). I'd be annoyed if I lost one of my G-Shocks.

Been looking for some with a white dial and blue hands which won't break the bank reckon this looks rather nice (black strap would be better) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390918248698?_trksid=p20...

20 quid - blimey! That looks good and seems very cheap.

I was after something similar, although I wanted a brown strap and wasn't bothered about auto, and I went for this:

It's a Festina F16777/2. I got it via Amazon from a German retailer, and paid about £60. I'm really pleased with it.

Yeah reckon it might not be up to much but it looks nice. Like that, also

Agggg that lug / strap gap.

Impress your mates though, tell them it was standard issue to Vulcan bomber crews on night jobs.

Quite like a couple of these and some of them sort of almost squeeze in under budget

So I really like the look of the IWC Portugese but I normally wear a diver style watch (Seamaster / GMT) etc. So I bought this got £50 to give it a whirl and see how it looks before diving head first into an expensive mistake. I absolutely love it BUT the auto noise annoys me beyond reason...anyone know how to stop it or quieten it?

It'll break in less than two years and you won't have to worry about it.

Mine was the same very noisy. Then very silent.

Mine's not been worn for an age, though it was very noisy when in use.

Just slow your wrist action down a bit. smile
