weight is good
Casting marks on the outside of the lugs
underside of the bracelet is a scabby mess.
and the hours sub dial is an hour out of line.
Been away for a week so only just got it now.Casting marks on the outside of the lugs

It's quite big - much bigger than a Seiko 5 and to the right is a similarly huge £15 Chinese automatic that was posted here a while ago.
I'm probably judging it as a £15 watch but tbh I can't fault the construction/finish really. Apart from the dials making no sense (0-1000 outer and 0-24 inner??) and the bottom dial which I can't figure out what it does?
ETA for less crap photo

Jesus the hour markers don't even align with the minute markers. My OCD is off the scale. Please stop posting garbage
At least it's got 12 hour markers on it, unlike the '0-1000' watch above (which I'm still wearing )
Was ordering stuff from Amazon anyway so thought I'd take a punt as it's so cheap could be ste but don't have a skeleton watch yet...
Feel free to post better quality watches anyone wearing a favourite sub-£50 watch at the moment?

Despite owning several >£50 watches that I split by work/weekend/smart/etc. my Seiko 5 I mentioned above hasn't left my wrist since I got it
I'm pretty much doing the same thing. Has anyone fitted a different strap to theirs? I've got two, both with the same black fabric strap on them.

Have to say out of all the cheap watches I have, the Seiko 5 is definitely the favourite (wearing it today actually), although it's for me it's one of the most expensive watches I own

Don't people ask you why you have two watches on one strap? Has anyone fitted a different strap to theirs? I've got two, both with the same black fabric strap on them.

Nope got two identical Seiko 5s with the black strap on them, as I lost my first one so bought a second, only to find the first one in a pocket of a coat I hardly ever wore. So would be nice to get a different strap for the second one...
Think it's an 18mm strap I'm needing?
Again a bit over budget but seems pretty decent:

Strangely, my FiL always wears two watches, one on each wrist. No, really! I believe one was his 21st birthday gift, and the other was his father's, and he always wears both. Can't remember what they are but they are both very similar, 50 years plus old, slim, gold, with brown leather straps.CAPP0 said:
