Not to worry, had a great day including a few hours in Windsor castle and some goodies for the incoming thread……as people have said a great experience with no sales pressure and as a result left with 2 watches instead of one (one Ltd edition that is not available on the website anymore) and an additional foc strap not available as standard with the watch.

Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Good idea! My wife took me in on my 50th birthday to choose a watch. Came away with a now discontinued 1000m titanium GMT. Really enjoyed my morning there.

Sadly I returned less than 3yrs later to return it under warranty as it had stopped. Despite chasing, It disappeared without trace and arrived on my doorstep unnanounced 10 weeks later. Its been fixed, not cleaned, or polished, and with no explanation on what went wrong or was fixed., just a note on the docket saying ' mechanical analogue repair'.

This seems to confirm other's experience of C Ward's after care services.

Some details and photos; some cross posted from the incoming thread.

Great experience; was able to skip the pre-order and take my C60 away there and then together with an additional FOC brown leather strap with bronze hardware in place of the distressed one that came as standard that I wasn’t fussed on. Also had the chance to discuss and see differing levels of patina on stock watches vs the bright solid bronze I was taking away.

Mrs G was looking at the 36mm Sealander but wanted a blue face which is not available today; “hang on a minute, we have 2 left of the spring limited editions from earlier this year that are no longer on our website, and by the way you can have this for ~30% off”.

Very impressed with the CW, I have an Aquaracer and Superocean and the C60 is up there in terms of build and detail.

Would recommend and both watches came in at less than the price of the Tag Carrera we looked at the day before for her in Cardiff.

Poor photos and times not fully set yet but you get the point…I chose this over a Tudor BB bronze and feel it was the right one.

Sealander in white with orange highlights on a black & orange strap next I think.

Never really considered one of their watches, but there are some amazing looking ones on here!
