Interesting. I love the Maxi case watches for their chunkiness...and being aan whom likes extrovert watches, I love the Hulk. Tried a new sub on and took it off my wishlist at the dealer as it didn't suit my wrist. Put a GMT down instead...in two tone rose gold and steel, so you can see where my tastes lie!

The Rootbeer is the only Rolex I will keep from my collection, everything else I would happily move on. It's a stunning, not in your face watch. You have to see it in person to really appreciate what it is, my favourite by far!

Agreed. And pictures do not do it justice at all. They had one at WOS for exhibition, I tried it on and was smitten. The Pepsi, by contrast, does little for me and the batman even less.

I was provided one (root beer ) and declined as I prefer the pepsi..

My friend who snapped up the footy loves it so all is well.
It is growing on me …

Can’t agree on the root beer personally, I have two friends with them and they go into the “flash watch” category for me. A bit like the blue/bi metal sub-I only ever see certain characters wearing them!

I think depending on Skin tone dictates whether the Rootbeer is flash or not. The Rose gold just seems to blend in. A SS black dial GMT as a comparison is much more bling, or any modern GMT with polished centre links. A Two Tone yellow gold even more so... The TT Rootbeer is definitely a watch you have to wear to see how low key it is (if you can have a low key Rolex in todays society) but for me, it's definitely the one that flies the lowest on the radar when it comes to bling.

The Blue dial TT Sub is the most blingiest out there!
