I wood imagine you're quite disappointed.
Hopefully the seller sticks to their promise of accepting returns.(actually the auction says 60 day returns but buyer pays return postage... that would be to china... :S )

Hmm. I've noticed a few of those on Ebay. I was going to take a risk with electrical kit and decided to buy from the UK otherwise they could send you broken kit on purpose knowing that you won't bother sending it back if it's around £10.
Chinese electrical kit .... Anyway doing the wooden watch the correct way, Incoming today from a colleague returning from the states,
Little bit of budget creep but compensation to the Tudor I could not negotiate an agreeable deal on - Sorry for the appalling photo - it's late

This guy is so wriggly
I think I will accept his offer of 80% refund. I can buy one from another seller for £20 and I paid £22.55, so I will get £18 back. This way I am only £2 down on the deal and I still get to keep the watch even though it is defective. Alternatively, perhaps I can buy a replacement movement from somewhere.

Hi, I am sorry the refund will cost you, but I can only suggest you send the faulty watch to your supplier for a refund or accept the loss. If you sell on eBay you have already agreed to these rules. For future sales you should check the item is working before sending it to a customer. I like the watch and I am disappointed it is faulty. I would prefer one in full working order rather than a refund, but I will alternatively accept a 100% refund so I can buy another one. Would it be better for you to send me a replacement without me sending you the faulty watch? This would save you the cost of the return postage and me the hassle of wrapping it up and posting it. If you provide me with an email address I can send you a video as proof that it does not work. Kind Regards

Sorry to bring troubles to you. may we talk about refund how much is acceptable ? 1) We refund you 50% , is OK? We have low profit in eBay, and we ship the item to you we have paid the shipping fee, and also the eBay transaction fee. we lost a lot 2) After the refund, could you please leave us Postive Feedback, and "Detailed Seller Ratings"over 3 stars per each criteria? Or do not leave any feedback ? If you agree with us, we refund you within 2 workdays. Best regards,

Hi, Thank you for the quick reply. I would like to return the watch and for a replacement to be sent to me. Ebay rules state the seller must pay for the return postage if the item is not as described. I will post the watch this weekend and advise you of the postage costs. Please double check the replacement is in full working order before sending. Kind Regards

Does look good for the money. As an aside, did you read the one review for it on Amazon? If so do you think he realised that you need to unclip the clasp?

I ordered one of these last night...
A full £44.25 under budget, I could have bought 8 of them & still had enough left over for a couple of scratchcards!
Looking forward to it arriving in 6 weeks time, & lasting 3 days before it falls apart.
Ah, a good old geniune Orkina. A full £44.25 under budget, I could have bought 8 of them & still had enough left over for a couple of scratchcards!

You simply ignore the first 3 letters and put Ch instead. Not sure it's a plus to have no name on the watch, but you've been ripped off!
Good news. It won't take 6 weeks (well, it might do at this time of year) 3-4 max usually, sometimes just a fortnight. It will certainly last far longer than 3 days and won't fall apart, unless you're really unlucky (little to go wrong with basic quartz watches, except the battery! LOL).
But just think... sit down first... you could have had THREE of these (link below) for almost what you paid for that 1 Orkina.
AND ...these have a date calendar too - they do work believe it or not, but naturally 31 days each month, so a bit of apull the crown out some months.
And granted, it's just the black one that's 1.99, the others cost a whopping 60p each more.
