Cheap waterproof holiday watch

I tend to loose watches 'on holiday' - usually overboard or while shnorkelling.
The Casio 'Casino Royale' world time is water resist to 10 bar, excellent for foreign travel and also available in black. I tested mine with three Martinis, but couldn't read the dial after two.
I have one of these too, it is a lovely lovely thing, and an absolute steal for £30. So many functions and so pretty. Trouble is, it displaces the F - 91W

Argos have them for about £26. Looks good with a tux and two olives. :-)
Another great watch from Casio. I prefer this over the G shock and it has better functionality. Picked one up from Amazon last month for £19.99 so watch the prices but even at £30 its worth it.Argos have them for about £26. Looks good with a tux and two olives. :-)
Also tried this mission impossible watch which has the same functions as the 5600

As regards a great holiday watch, this deal is something I did last summer (although it was only £50 then, whereas it's £65 now): https://divernet.com/product/12-issues-of-diver-fo...
Basically, £65 all-in buys you 12 paper copies of 'Diver' Magazine delivered to your door, plus a 'free' gift by way of an Apeks quartz dive watch on a rubber strap. If you have a cursory interest in diving, it's a compelling deal.
The watch is actually good - a Seiko quartz engine, in a casing that I suspect is Citizen. Apeks is a brand that you'll find in Dive shops, sold as a diving watch.
Good fun, and being analogue with a timing bezel, plus day & date function, it fulfills the poolside beater role nicely but with a little more class than a G-Shock (in my opinion).
Other than that, an Orient Mako is a bit over budget at circa £150 on Amazon (or around £110 on Creation, if you get away without VAT charges) and provides a really compelling, 'in-house' mechanical option on bracelet, but looks classy enough to dress up at dinner in the evening. It's been my go-to holiday watch for six years, and going away with me again this week. Oddly enough, also the watch I own that receives the most comments - possibly on account of the terrific electric-blue dial.
There are 1000m versions of this watch that can be picked up for around £100 and some Cressi gmt ones about the same.

What's the round LCD? Mimicking an analogue face, or does it do more than that?
It's an analogue 12 hour display, with seconds on the outer ring. Displays the Home Time Zone. World time is displayed on the digital bit underneath. Davey S2 said:

Quite amazingly this is the watch that Bill Gates wears.Horsey McHorseface said:
Hmmm, so no real functional value, and it takes up 25% of the display. It is a cool looking watch though.
Instant Home Time is useful on a world time watch, as you always know when it's time to call yo' mama back in Blighty. Can be set to Zulu Time if you're a pilot, etc. The Casios have a really nice auto-calendar which doesn't need advancing for short months, one thing which riles me with my analogue watches.
Noticed a lot of 'cheap' watch prices in the UK have increased by 30% since last year, have just ordered a cheapy from Creation Watches, based somewhere in R.O.C.
Lord knows if it will ever arrive.

Nothing wrong with Creation- they even have a UK customer service number. Had a few watches from them over the years and surprised you haven’t heard if them. You’ll get you watch within a week. The Casios have a really nice auto-calendar which doesn't need advancing for short months, one thing which riles me with my analogue watches.

Thank you. I wait with baited breff for my Singaporean bewty. It's a replacement for my A500 WA Casio World Time, left in some seedy Spanish hotel last week. ....and they are based in Singapore not China
Casio g7710, it's like a 3/4 size gshock, uses a standard type strap rather than the wider ones and has some useful functions like dual countdown timer and multiple time zones for 70-80. I think you can get the same model without the reverse display too. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Casio-G-Shock-Mens-Watch-...

Add a nato strap from ebay for £4.
Waterproof 200m.
You won’t want to change it.

I bought one (two actually as the first was a snide so got a refund) and was shocked how small it is, almost like a child's watch. I do normally wear chunky watches but it looks silly on my wrist.my first ever watch. Aged 12
