Finally assembled my 60th birthday present. I had to buy a new pair of glasses to be able to see the parts but really pleased how it came out. I could probably have bought a ready assembled watch for the same or less but this is all mine.

That looks super cool! I've been eyeing up a 300T with orange dial for a while. I'm not sure about the bracelet though - looks like it'd catch hair in between the "rice". No US dealers makes it tough to buy without trying.

Is it comfortable to wear?

Dressy Navitimer day! The only watch I know that appears to incorporate a Venn diagram in the face; sadly all the markings are too small to read, so I have no idea what any of it means.

Still, it's pretty, if useless.

Very comfortable to wear...very flexible
band...screwed pins to adjust....and it's just a bit different from the usual.....

Back to the typical daily, Christopher Ward C60 Ombré.

Girlfriend got me a new strap for it (from steveostraps, she found the thread on PH ), came with the distressed brass buckle but we both agreed that it was a little too enormous, so I took an angle grinder to it for an even more distressed look

I think it works well with the rough bronze finish of the watch.

First day back in "the office" (Dining room table) today but put my everyday watch on for it I'd usually wear to the office having worn my Rolex over the break - strange.

What I realised is that the Rolex is a far better occasional watch (setting the date with the crown) than the Omega, which is a PITA due to having to cycle the hours forward. Great for travelling between time zones without disturbing the minute hand but a pain when you need to add 2 weeks to the date. Omega can be hand wound so in future I think I'll keep it topped up when wearing another.
