Whoa !! I ordered one of those at a tickle over £100. The p&p is free if you can wait for it. They sent an email this morning saying I could pay £10 for express delivery, and they would label it up as a gift. I'll report back what happens.
I'm in Norway and the Post Office rape me. I have a DVD box set waiting that I gave a tenner for on fleabay, they want £17 in tax for me to collect it. Could have just bought it down the road, which is their point I suppose.
Oh, I bottled it and went for a black face.
Guess we all know what not to wear to a PH meet, we'll all look like special friends.

Criky the more I look at this thread the more itchy I feel.
I think I've even decided on an orange one which is really not normally me at all. I think I might not tell my wife and just wait till it arrives to show her. She'll probably pass out!
It'll be my first Seiko as well. Need to look a bit more and make sure orange is right but definitely the way I am leaning at present.

No, they sent me a Fex-ex tracking thing and it's due to be delivered tomorrow, a day later than I thought.
I'm bricking it now, the missus bought a fancy handbag from the States on fleabay. The seller posted it to Norway, marked as a gift and put a 'Happy Birthday' card inside. Post Offices computer said 'no' and she had to pay the VAT.

It's gone upto 111 pounds now(I ordered the black face on a rubber strap) plus 10 pounds express delivery.
It was marked as a gift, with a value of 65 USD too. I didn't have to pay any tax on the doorstep.
It came in a presentation box, on a little pillow. Brand spanking new with instructions.
If came from Japan -> China -> Paris -> Oslo in just over a week.
So if you can wait a week, and your local postie is a bit keen with the VAT/Customs, might be worth a punt.

No, I opted for the free delivery which I was prepared to wait for. They then sent me an email saying "pay an extra tenner and we'll send it express, marked as a gift and with a low value on" That tenner probably pays for itself.
It comes from Japan, so I guess you are cutting out a middle man along the way. I don't think it's an official European watch, so I guess European won't buy direct from Seiko.

It does look good with the matt rubber strap. I have a Pepsi SKX031 and it is suitable sobered up by replacing the bracelet with a Z22 rubber strap.

I had an Orange Monster and sold it on a recent trip abroad. On my way back I picked up that watch, the SKX011J on a rubber strap. I prefer the slightly more subtle looks to my Orange Monster, and I've now put it on an oyster bracelet which looks great.Well, I've just done it. Ordered from Creation Watches.

I admit I have just drunk a bottle of wine but my wife OK'ed the purchase, although when I actually clicked the buttons she was, (and still is), fast asleep!
I am really looking forward to receiving this watch. I am pretty sure this will become my new favourite.
