That's a really nice watch.

I've been chewing over that, the PADI version, the save the ocean version, and the Shu Iro.

It was a cheapie from China off eBay, around £7 and years ago. But when I tried to buy another they'd sold out.

The Padi Samurai with the wave dial is one of my favorites.
It’s even better with a double domed sapphire crystal and a Namoki bracelet whistle

Typical. It looks really good, almost up there with those from that chap in Canada whose name I've forgotten

Smart as a fking dart that like. Just had a look on their website (https://www.cswatches.com/custom-seiko-watches/snk809mod) but can't see a price. Would you mind sharing an approximate cost?

Hi! Yeah it was roughly 385p in January, incl shipping to Sweden mind. So in Uk should be a little less.
Go for it! smile

Aliexpress parts build up. Only thing genuine is the Seiko movement.

Not mine but I just saw this on Chrono 24.

Seems optimistic to me, but what do I know? Also looks a lot more beaten up than what I’d expect for “Very Good” condition it’s been described as.

Are people really paying £600+ for an orange monster in that sort of condition?? It was a sub-£200 watch when they were new!!
Wow I had no idea. I've not worn mine for years. I'm tempted to sell it on if thats what they are going for.

£230 - £240 seems to be the going rate on ebay.

Yup. Monsters are having a bit of a moment, especially the first generation.
And I nearly gave mine away last week! I have the box and all with it! Mind you, mine has "lived". I bought it from Creation watches years back just because I was curious about them, and for £120 it is one helluva timepiece.
