I see people / civvies wearing Citizen Royal Marines / Red Arrows etc watches and wonder why they bought a mil badged watch to wear rather than a normal one without the the OTT details. Maybe they feel better about themselves for wearing it?? But that can only be so until they meet a genuine RM or Arrow and then the sleeves get pulled down to hide the evidence.
I think you're being a overly harsh here Eddie.I wouldn't wear anything badged RM, but I'd happily wear a Red Arrows Skyhawk - because I'm nerdy & enthusiastic about aviation stuff, not because I hope that by wearing it to the pub, the barmaid will catch it poking past my shirt and think I'm an RA pilot.
I do own a watch with the insignia and related details of the Italian Frecce Tricolore, and again, it's not because I want folk to think I pilot for them.
...its no different to most Joe Public from wearing a ltd edition F1 Team watch to me. ITS JUST A WATCH!

Picked up this Seiko in Hong Kong which, after a bit of haggling, came in at £95ish.
First impressions are all positive. Build quality seems excellent and I think it looks great.
Also, the Offshore is on a Hirsch rubber strap which seems to be very good so far.
I have the same Seiko and for the price it's a quality thing. Mine keeps excellent time too, seems to be within a couple of seconds a day although I haven't timed it exactly. First impressions are all positive. Build quality seems excellent and I think it looks great.

Hmmm... a Rolex, or a Seiko that looks just like a Rolex and a new motorbike... tough choice warren182 said:

I knew there was a lot of love for Seiko on PH. I'm really impressed by it.I like it on the bracelet for now but I think I'll order a Nato soon - that looks very cool.
This is one from a few weeks back, that I didn't get around to posting. I had to wear a suit for work, so felt it was appropriate to get the Nomos out of the watch box:

Coming very soon - always wanted one of these for my collection and before the prices shoot up
What is the pricing spread between trade and retail (with box and papers 9/10 condition) would anybody hazard a guess ?
