Please don't, my envy levels will explode! Enjoy the day, one of the best models in the current line up IMHO

Unfortunately not mine, but this is what my wife got for her boss this week who is retiring early. Absolutely beautifully made and fantastic customer service from Stowa.

He was rather chuffed with it, it has to be said. Just hope his collection covers it. laugh

My Dawn Grey turned up this morning, nice surprise!

Really please with it, I think it does feel that bit better quality than my SKX009, and it's still a large watch but feels to sit flatter on the wrist, very comfy. The Seiko bracelet is surprisingly decent, a little more rattly than my StrapCode, but I still plan to put a fabric / rubber one on this anyway..

I'll put a few more pics in the Seiko thread, save clogging this one up!

Received this today. Not bad for under £59 new. Even has hacking which I was surprised about. I think it is a seagull movement?

Trying to post up pics with imageshack but they are coming out tiny with imageshack , tried with thumb snap and for some reason they are auto rotated

So the clock watching this morning was well worth it . Felt very welcomed as usual by my AD as I have been in a fair few times during the year and last year , they got to see my Panerai when I had it and as usual my superocean2.

The salesman knew exactly what this watch meant to me and how excited I was when he called last weekend, the minute he appeared with the box and opened it I knew it was the right Choice and it was coming home with me . All I can say is this was well worth the wait

Something a bit different, probably first and last venture into the world of vintage watches. But I really liked it, it wasn't that expensive and I doubt I'll see another.

Yes, I realise it's probably a redial, as it's 68 years old.

Don't look at Chrono24 before a coffee in the morning. frown
This arrived today and I can't say how lovely it is. Tried taking pictures but they were rubbish.

The concave glass gives it a couple of different views. Numerals/no numerals.

Complete opposite to the picture, the dial is subdued and not 'tarty' and the hands are delicate and lovely compared to the agriculutural look they have in the picture.

Chuffed to bits with it! ??

Oops. Brand-new Hanowa chronograph, merely a quartz but only £55. Photos to follow when it arrives, this is a screengrab from the auction.

Let me know how you get on with yours, I am getting nowhere near 40 hours of power from mine despite following the instructions!

I’ve had that (but with a shiny case) for a few years - yep, it’s a Seagull.

Good luck with that one. I gave up looking. Even second-hand Submariners in Tokyo - where I currently am, for work - are over £6k second-hand.

fk that.
