Picked this up this morning for a very good price. Needed a serious clean and underneath the dirt was in excellent condition.

I'll get it serviced as time keeping could be better but only a minor polish as I don't want to lose its originality

Big fan of the hulk - having never seen one in the flesh, does the green of the bezel match the green of the dial? Photos tend to suggest that they don't quite match?

The bezels match the colour IMHO it's just it's obviously a gloss ceramic compared to the metallic dial, so there is a slight difference in look.

Lovely pieces, I think they look even better on a matching green rubber strap.

That’s looks great. What did you use to clean it?

Had this for three years now, and still on the original battery. Accuracy is still superb.

Mrs Grover will be furious when she discovers you wearing her blouse.

The dial is slightly darker than the bezel yes, but no so much so that it looks odd. It is a lovely shade!!

Everest straps are really good quality, have a blue one on my BLNR. Unfortunately it doesn’t it quite flush against the case of the Tudor I posted above otherwise I’d have bought another

Tried this today. I fancied a Big Pilot but given my tiny wrists it was no go. I reckon I can wear a 40mm tops before I start looking silly (do not like big watches).
I always fancied a big pilot until I wore one - it just didn't look right on me. I still have a hankering for a Dopple Chrono of 90s vintage (with the squared of hour hand) and I will seek one out eventually.

Your post inspired me to wear my 36mm MKXII pilot

Jaysus. The last thing the Hulk needed was another shade of green.

Inspired by the recent thread I’ve put the Black Bay on the original NATO supplied with it for the first time. Nice but it’s a bit short for my wrists.
