Yes, that's ok for the yellow GA-B2100 but not the Camo GA-2100 which is not Bluetooth.
Looks like it’s locked to US format like other squares https://support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN...

Possibly old stock, pre the updated GW5610U.
Not a lot of difference granted, but having UK date format DD,MM is a biggy for me.
I think it will be the updated one because I had to return a 10 month old one to Argos (with the US date format) and got the updated module as a direct replacement about a month ago.Possibly old stock, pre the updated GW5610U.

That being said they could well be running down 'old' stock. As well as a UK date format option the new module keeps the time display when you are in timer and stopwatch which I don't think the previous module did.
Looks like it is the older version so yes they might well be running down old stock. I think it’s also available on an Amazon for £79.99.
My 6900 makes the 5610 look like a kids watch
First impressions are it’s a bit small, even though I’m used to wearing a 40mm Hamilton normally. I definitely like the look of it though. Will see how I feel about it over the coming days. I’m just used to a hefty g shock I guess!

I picked up these two recently. Firstly a GW-B5600SGZ-7 or Five Tiger Generals Listed Edition. I quite like the white and may use it like that in the summer but for now I've swapped the bezel and strap to black. I purchased this one because I like the tan and orange on the face. I didn't get a funky box like keith2.2 did above though.
The other is a GDF100BTN which was a collaboration with with Burton Snowboards in 2012. Nice pale blue details and a comfy fabric strap. A decent price at £90, especially considering it's unused and as new.

Saw this
Not had a chance to fiddle with it yet but don’t mind if it’s the older version. I’ve worn G shocks for so long I’m used to reading the date in the American format. It would be more confusing to have a G Shock displaying the date the “correct “ way…
ETA was given the option of date format but will keep it in traditional “G Shock format” I think. Know where I am then…m
I was tempted by that Frogman but this 5610 has scratched the new watch itch for considerably less outlay. So in a way it’s saved me money. Hasn’t it…?!

That packaging is mental! Are they limited edition?
I haven't bought a G Shock for 11 years, my last one is still excellent and I wear it every week. I've been after a square G Shock now for some time. Argos have the 5610 on sale for £79.99 so thought i'd treat myself.

They’re just a brilliant watch. Perfect form and function. Not had a chance to fiddle with it yet but don’t mind if it’s the older version. Indeed. A classic now as well I’d say. I certainly don’t need yet another g shock - especially as I already have the negative display version of this - but I couldn’t resist at the price. Not the first time this forum has cost me money LordGrover said:

So it seems. Good old Argos!funinhounslow said:

So it seems. Good old Argos! Its funny, G Shocks are the only watches people want to talk about, some random guy stopped me asking about my G Shock the other day and ended up having a bit of a chat about them, none of my other watches attract any kind of conversation. Made me think they probably have one of the biggest followings.
