Saw something similar the other day and thought it might be up your street. It is sort of black bay-esque I guess. I love the look of those tropical NATO straps too. I can't find a UK supplier which has them, and don't fancy spending extra on US delivery.http://heuerville.wordpress.com/tag/black-bay/

I did get 1st refusal on it Ive known about it for quite a while but its taken months to do.
Quite excited.
The question is, what strap to put it on, I'm not a nato man, suggestions?
Dunno, but I'll buy the NATO off you for the price of a couple of beers if you really don't want it.Quite excited.

Do they do anything like with a more normal arrangement of hands?
Lovely looking watch, I think, but the arrangement of dials just strikes me as a gimmick.
It's not easier to read and it's not telling me anything a standard watch dial wouldn't.

Sinn do lots of different watches. The Regulateur style of watch is by no means limited to them and is historically a way of showing accurate minute time, without the chance of the minute hand being obscured by hours. It's a horological curiosity really, but I like them for that.Lovely looking watch, I think, but the arrangement of dials just strikes me as a gimmick.

Wow. I'm used to accurate timekeeping with atomic G's but that is seriously impressive for a movement which doesn't rely on an atomic signal to correct itself. I was quite surprised to find that the non-atomic G's I have owned were pretty bad at timekeeping (most were +30s / month) but I suppose I shouldn't have been really - they are cheap for a reason.
You should see how accurate my Speedmaster isn't. I reckon it gains about 3 minutes a week, although I haven't tested it properly yet. If they'd been using mine to time the engine firing points on Apollo 13, they'd be on Mars by now...andy tims said:
I have the day off today but it's horrible weather, so just a few quick indoors shots of the Sinn 155 that landed with me yesterday - Looks good on a variety of straps IMHO

Di Modell Rallye or the green NATO for me. You've basically got the F-104-Starfighter-pilot-in-the-cockpit/in-the 70s-Porsche-at-the-weekend look nailed on both counts that way. Di-Modell Rallye
