A truly beautiful watch deserving more interest.
Does the anchor do something other than beat seconds, and did you pick this up new or preloved?
Thank you. The anchor just moves as part of the dead beat movement nothing else. And I got it unworn in box from dealer but it was 2 years old at the time and had been sat in a safe at a boutique in Dubai

I appreciate I'm on route to the 'council thread' but I like a cleaner more simple watch, Single dial or chrono but unfortunately the above reminds me of the below...
How very dare you!
Wash your hands thoroughly, with carbolic soap, after writing that...
"Barman...! Make it a triple this time. I need to forget something urgently!!"
I take it that living this one down may take a while?

That's got to be a staged photo,

Indeed, they're the first to go.

All that remains in ours are caramel and fudge... hurl
Prefer the fudge and milky ways meself!

But then I also don't mind the hamster strap so there you go. biggrin

A really awful photo of a great watch.

Wearing its close relation today, really need to take a fresh 'photo rather than keep using this old one.

And those Bounty bars would have been the first to go yum

Just arrived after much searching. Nice balance between age, condition, package (it’s got full box and papers) and of course price. My grail watch so content (for now!).

First big boy watch and first venture into this section of the forum.

Got it in December. Told 6-9months wait by ten or so dealers then got an instant reply from Bucherer in Covent Garden and picked up in less than 24hrs from enquiry for normal money. No silly mark up.

Still on a few lists for a Batman but not sure if I’d bother when the time comes. Started to really like the classic black on black.

Don't hear too much talk about the Sky Dweller - I really like it. How do you find ownership?

Lovely! I regret not jumping in when I had to chance as they've had a steady rise since. May I ask how much you paid?

What on earth have you done to that poor Daytona?laugh
The only thing I can think of is that he is allergic to metal because that looks bloody awful!
Don't fret, I didn't throw the bracelet away! I love changing straps on different watches but they can easily go back to original!
It looks like you've recently suffered the loss of a much loved hamster, which you've turned into a watch rug so you can remember him always.
That was exactly what I thought!!! At least he loved the hamster!! roflroflrofl
I'm still trying to decide how that makes me feel or where the motivation came from scratchchin

Really like the snoopy detail on the speedy. Showed my 4 year old daughter and it blew her mind. Lovely watch.
