Treated myself to an Omega last week, got offered a good deal and always admired the Speedmaster, just not the Omega bracelet - this was perfect.

(pic of Display back deleted as I didn't realise the S/N was on show)

Also been sporting my new (to me) Kommandirskie which was a nice xmas surprise from the inlaws (we spotted it in Bulgaria and unbeknownst to me it came back with us!)

(I've got it on a khaki NATO, quite liking the irony of a Soviet watch on a NATO strap smile )

Still enjoying the new toy.... self regulating (lying dial up overnight) has made this watch incredibly accurate. 0 seconds either way over 3 weeks or so.

Bought a leather strap for an incoming vostok, but watch hasn't shown up yet, so thought I would try it on my fk instead of original steel... I think I like it!

Brought out the big dog as I’m getting dressed up tonight for a work do. Poor old sod hasn’t come out of the box for nearly a year.

That is lovely.
Why thank you! 1984 ish. Plexi glass. The equivalent of the Rolex 1680. I've had many a Rolex and Vintage Rolex has gone silly.
Tudor vintage are still within reach. For now!

Pottering in the garage.

Last of the properly proportioned Subs. A classic.
If I remember it's the 14060M?

You are correct traffman! A14060M four liner.

Don’t think I’ll ever part with it.

I’ve been wearing this for nearly five years now. It’s been really impressive, as accurate as any mechanical watch I have owned, and seems more resilient than the Rolex (14060M) Submariner that it replaced.

Back in a pre-ceramic and I absolutely could not be happier smile

Early 2005, matching full set and back from a Rolex service, makes a lovely pair for the kids with the SD50th anniversary.
