I'm not too fussed it just means I've got more in the pot!

He said it was because it wasn't working but you could clearly see it the photos that the hands were moving as the seconds hand was in a different position in each picture and there was ten minutes difference between the first and last picture!

I do just think it didn't reach what he thought it would. A genuine squale mesh bracelet on its own would be worth a few Bob.

Haven't left anyone a negative in God knows how long so quite enjoyed doing it!

So after the last debacle with the fake Citizen I won this today for £102.50 delivered, really hoping that what turns up looks as good as the pics, it's a Hanowa Neptune with boxes, books and tags!!!

Off the Vostok leather strap and onto a 22mm engineer bracelet.

I’m delighted. Sitting at -5 secs/24 hours.

I noticed that Bulova have reissued this around the 200 mark...

..which encouraged me to 'recommission' (I.e. put new batteries in) this original 1976 boxed and papered number, bought on eBay for around £150 five years ago. I prefer the led display!

I think you’d be above budget buying that now...

Not sure. Some total chancers on eBay, I've seen a couple go for around the thread budget over the last few months (albeit no box etc). They are no way worth mad money, they're a good laugh but that's all.

I love the fact that it's supposed to be a driver's watch where you can see the display with your hands on the steering wheel, but you have to activate a button to see the time.

Big fan of Bulova, I have three, and I love the look of the retro stuff, they pioneered a lot of technology that people aren't aware of!!!

I always fancied a Rado ceramic watch, is there anything similar within the thread budget?

I'm looking forward to the arrival of mine. Why did you change the strap? Can't say I'm much of a fan of the bracelets.

From another forum i frequent, i was reminded about my entire watch collection, none of which exceeded £250.
The GX Smartwatch - £70

A cheap generic watch - £40

Then another cheap watch - £5, a Casio Edifice Red Bull Edition - the real expensive one in the collection at £245! and a TW Steel -£195

I did have a Rotary, a Sekonda and a Citizen but the Rotary and Sekonda died a death and the Citizen drove me nuts trying to work out how to change thr time on the feckin thing, so they went to Watch Heaven.

No idea if we can sell to each other on this thread? If not, I will gladly delete.

My 5 week old white dial Pagani ‘Daytona’ is for sale if anyone wants it? It’s really nice, just not sure it’s my style.

I bought it brand new directly from Pagani and worn it 3 times.

It’s fitted with a non-genuine Oysterflex strap. It has been cut down to size, but my wrists are fairly large, about 18.5cm, so it’s probably big enough for most people, and still has additional cut down notches left. Original strap, box, and spare links are there.

WOW. I never seen that type of clasp! I seen many a bad rep in my days but this reminds me of the fakes you used to get on your hols for a £5!

I would love to see a sales area where we can put stuff to sell that is seen by the users of the watch sub-forum, especially this sub £200 stuff as its more of buying on a whim and something may catch a members eye....

I did clearly state non-genuine strap rofl

The watch is ‘as new’ and cheap enough at £50 inc post, and anyone who buys it is free to throw the rubber strap in the bin if they don’t like it, but for me, it actually made it a lot nicer to wear than the standard Pagani stainless bracelet.

Sourcing a real Oysterflex to stick on a Pagani would have been slight overkill!

I put an Oysterflex style strap on my PD and used the clasp from the original bracelet.
