Well, to give an update; no arguments, no drama, they’re ordering a new one for the end of the week! So that was easy!
A whole new watch, or a new bezel? I am going to have to visit my local place and see if mine can be sorted. One of those things I haven't got round to through various lockdowns.
A whole new watch. Although we’re going to compare them both first, which makes sense.

But bear in mind it’s literally four days since I bought it. I’d have thought much longer than a few weeks and it would be a case of sending it away.

Yeah fair enough. I wouldn't be against sending mine off. It feels like a weak spring to me.

Don't see many of these around here, should be on a leather strap;
it will be tomorrow cos the bracelet is a fraction too tight

lovely watch! I was seriously tempted by the 2 tone on leather. The greyish brown dial is sublime. But I just wouldn't get the chance to wear something so formal.

I've never seen one of those before. I think I like it.

I haven't bought a watch for a couple of years now but I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it...

Beautiful. I'm a sucker for white dials and Panerais.

Thanks, I love the sandwich dial (I have an PAM00560) but the white looks great and I really wanted a date on it too.

Like a kid at Christmas!

Well, Planet Ocean GMT take two….

Really great service from Goldsmiths who swapped the first watch over with no drama. There was clearly something wrong with the bezel on the first one; this one is tight and feels very well made - completely different to the first. Love this watch!

I'm normally not a fan of Panerai but that is really nice!

TBF it looks like every other Panerai, so perhaps you actually like them in general.

Well I was DPD's last drop last night but it finally arrived. I love it.

Yes it is very much like every other Panerai but it seems to wear smaller on the wrist than my other one, despite being the same 44mm - the polished bezel looks lovely against the case.

For some reason, I thought these were quite expensive. It turns out they're not.

That's probably because they're mecha-quartz, which I'm not a fan of. It's also a chronograph, which I don't like, and has a tachymeter, which I think is pointless.

Mine's due in early October.

hehe

I think they are worth it just for the looks personally.
