Nice! It looks way better on your real photo than the stock website one as well.

My wrists are about 6.5" and flat on top so I'd be pushing it. laugh
Yeah, I don't think Casio's photos ever really do G-Shocks justice. They are meant to be big and funky so always look a bit daft whatever the wrist size!

I absolutely don’t need this watch but absolutely want one.
That’s even nicer than the Casioak.
I posted the sale link in here as soon as I got the early subscriber email.

You snooze you lose! biglaugh

On a side note, TKMaxx has some older stock Hamiltons in, they aren't under £200 though. biggrin

Nah. The Hamiltons don’t do much for me.

Am awaiting the arrival of the Steeldive Willard, that’ll do for now.

In the meantime here’s a pic of the Hanowa that’s doing duties this week!

Off topic but are you performing again yet?

Yes mate, at the Tyrol Festival in Austria.

All systems go. Premiere next week, and it’s the best job I’ve ever done (in 23 years) which is an added bonus! Couldn’t be happier.

That’s a great looking watch. I like that.

Good to hear that you’re performing again...

Thanks all.

Fortunately my family, both young and old, have come through the last 18 months unscathed, in comparison to so many who have gone through unimaginable heartache.

My frustration at my career grinding to a halt kind of pales into comparison…. But it’s nice to be back at it, that’s for sure.

(By the way there’s an enormous amount of frustration amongst everyone who works in performing arts in the UK at the moment, as they see thousands in stadiums and pubs for the football whilst theatres remains dark or only partially open).

Cheers all and best budget horological wishes from the Tyrol.

It’s my Poundland AquaTerra, and it’ll be Wotan‘s watch on stage for the upcoming performances of Das Rheingold!

€200, brand new, Swiss movement and really well finished. Runs -2 secs/day. The bracelet let it down but I swapped that out.

Definitely a watch for the King of the Gods!

Brilliant! I never thought that a watch would find its way onto the arm of such a character... good for you! Will you hide it to avoid the anachronism or will it be proudly on show?

It’s in modern dress so fits right in! It needs to fit under a cuff so can’t be too chunky. The Hanowa is 10mm thick.

I thought he was the kind of guy that would wear a steel sports watch, but unlike Alberich he doesn’t actually go into the Rhein so has no need for a dive watch.

(There is a house rule that no personal watches or jewelry should be worn on stage, which obviously I am ignoring!)

In true PH style -- Poverty watch in poverty pork - and I think they're both perfect!

Incidentally I've modified the F91-W with the Nato strap, brighter SMD led and then performed the hydro-mod and filled it with mineral oil so it's waterproof to quite some depths!
