The original watch this is based on was produced by Longines for the American Air Corps back in the 30's.
Pilots would wear it on the inside of their wrist when flying so that they could read the time correctly without taking their hands off the controls.
I'm no pilot but the quirky face drew me to the watch.
Single pusher chronograph and that onion crown finish off the look nicely.
Works well to read off the time when driving too.

I really like the off set Longines.
Tried the Vacheron Historiques American recently and the off set face makes a surprising amount of sense when you're wearing it normally - anything you do where your hands are in front of you, like typing for example, and it's very legible.
Longines more in my budget though
