I was close. I knew it had something to do with Seiko, I just thought he was from New Jersey or something. smile

Today's acquisition. I've lusted after this for ages, ended up buying the watch, the face and the strap and having the face fitted. But now I have it, I'm not so sure about it. Ironically I think it looks better in the picture than in real life. On the wrist, it looks smaller and the strap seems overbearing. We'll see.

Trust this week's keyboard is a tad more acceptable! tongue out

Lovely ZesPak biggrin Just picked this j up

and love it. Hate the strap but have a Miltat super oyster ii on the way and a Watchgecko zuludiver NATO.

The FF modded snzh57 is by far the highest on the list for my next purchase, interesting to hear your thoughts on it CAPP0 and how it wears to how you imagined it. Thankfully the skx wears better than I thought it would but if you decide to part with the FF whistlethumbup

Lovely bezel colour. Not sure if it's just my phone is too small for the picture or the timing of your pic is hindering... I see it as "Polex"

The counter-balance of the second hand is obscuring the bottom of the R.

Noted! It's back in the watch case at the moment. I'll see next week. I do have quite large wrists, and I do also have several other Seikos, but this one somehow contrives to look small on me even though the picture suggests not. Will keep you posted!

It is, with the exception of a couple of hours' wear yesterday, brand new.

ETA: Its a Dagaz face, btw.

I think it's the small dial, relative to the body, that makes it look out of proportion. The industrial bezel, the thick crystal, and then the inset indices cramp the dial. So the watch feels small, even if it's physically large on the wrist.
