That's nice - I can imaging it on C3PO's wrist. I do like a nicely done gold watch for a change.

Ordered one of these last night. Really like the Group B, had a gen 1 in yellow and an original gen 2 night stage, both sold a few years ago.

thats a couple of lovely acquisitions for you. Supposedly on the list for one of these, but 3 years later no call so far!

The Seiko is a nice piece too

Not expecting any love for this, but I’m a bit of a Simpsons fan and I’m going to get the rest of the collection too when released, can’t think of a situation where I might wear it but it’s very comfortable.

Thanks. I’d had a pretty quiet year until just recently.

A friend who has a purchasing history with an AD got his Root Beer 3 months after ordering. So I think it’s worth chasing the AD up, or trying elsewhere.

will be near the AD in a couple of weeks so will chase then; not in a massive hurry and was meant to be thinning the heard but that does look lovely

That’s lovely. I have always thought that one of these could be the one watch for every occasion.

The watch for all occasions, really nice.
I have a black Aqua Terra which is the Omega equivalent. I tossed up between a used Explorer or new AT and chose new.

I went for the Exp40 as its a simple 3 hander. No bling and isn't recognisable as a Rolex from 100m away. A quick glance and could be a Seiko.

Hopefully can get to wear it a lot more in the Uk due to flying under the radar.

I doubt you could identify most watches from 100m away hehe

I used to have a mint one of those. Picked it up cheaply off ebay as it had a load of paint all over it. When it turned up, the paint came off easily and a quick crystal polish later I had a very nice watch indeed.

You did well! That's about the only way you can get a bargin watch on ebay these days. Buy something that looks destroyed and hope for an easy fix.

This one is pretty minty too, but it came from a bricks and mortar jeweller rather than ebay. Santa has been rather lovely to me this year. I need to be a good boy for another month and a bit, and then I'll be allowed to follow up this teaser photo with some better shots.

If you had a mint condition one, I can't believe you sold it on. It's a gorgeous little watch.
