AliExpress is just fine, any issues and there's no messing, they refund, no pratting about with returns either. I think that's down to National pride and the concept of 'Face'.
I'd echo the points about AliExpress. I've had no issues at all with them. Only thing to bear in mind is that there's often a wait so no good if immediate gratification is your thing. One of them is supposedly a genuine Alligator strap for my (way over budget) Panerai that owes me £50 versus the £300 OEM item. The tension is almost unbearable. I blame Bad Bob for starting this topic.

You get a package in the mail 2 months later and it's a bit of a surprise gift to yourself
I had two Steeldives and a Heimdallr 'Willard', but all have gone now.
I didn't really like the 6105, but I think that's down to a dislike of the styling, not anything wrong with the actual example I had.
One Steeldive was an MM300 clone - It was very well made, but the best of the 3 was a Tuna clone - That's the only one I regret selling, I've toyed with getting another (black probably, mine was green), but I kind of feel I've done that now and don't need to go back.
All that said, I don't think you'd regret spending £100 or so on one for a regular wear if you do like the styling. Well made, accurate (in my experience) and well specced.

New portable chest fridge/freezer for our campervan:
Top European brand name on it.
UK retail camping/leisure industry £425
Amazon £385
Unknown Chinese brand name on it (same item though, not a copy).
Amazon £175
AliExpress £69
I know it's not helping our economy, but it's a big price difference.

Happy holidays! I hope you can get back into Luxemburg ok, without endless quarantine etc.
My UK family were due to fly to Frankfurt on Monday; the change in regulations at 23:00 Sunday put paid to that.
Oh, and a Happy Christmas to all threadists, wherever you may be, from a crisp cold and clear Vienna.
