Rolex - cost to change from Date to Datejust
Discussion
New Datejust - RRP £4,500
your watch - I imagine they will bid you £1,500 (they seem to be up for 2,000 - 2,500)
So I think £3,000 give or take
Two factors working against you:
- The Rolex date doesn't seem to hold its value / be that popular compared to the sports watches (Submariner, Sea Dweller, Daytona)
- New prices have inflated a lot last few years, so the new datejust is very expensive (almost same price as a sub no date)

Hi,
Many thanks for the info.
Incendently how did you find the size change from Data to DataJust?
I actually like the understated look of it but it does appear quite a bit smaller than other watches these days (maybe that's just a fashion thing with watches the size of small planets appearing to be the norm).
Bit worried the Datejust might be a bit large for everyday wear, but also sometimes think the date is a bit small sometimes.
